PLDI 2024
Mon 24 - Fri 28 June 2024 Copenhagen, Denmark
Mon 24 Jun 2024 17:40 - 18:00 at Copenhagen - Session 4

The classical simulation of quantum circuits using the state vector formalism involves an implicit calculation of interference among the various basis states. Using a well-established concurrency model, we isolate this calculation as a distinct phase that can be completed to various degrees governed by a threshold parameter. We demonstrate that, for the main textbook quantum algorithms, significant efficiency improvements are possible.
